The street outreach program is designed to have a steady and trusted presence within the community, in order to build caring relationships in which staff may teach youth of the dangers of living on the street and provide other options.  Staff find youth on the street in Madison County, at the program’s drop-in center, and at school, and offer a variety of referrals to services including medical care, counseling, crisis intervention, survival needs (food, clothing, etc.) and educate those youth on the risks of living on the street.  THE STUDIO also has a reading program, which pairs college students with elementary students from at-risk areas and schools.  Services are free.

  • Denta/Medical and counseling referrals
